Megan is Turner Financial Solutions’ Principal, and Senior Adviser. Having worked within the financial planning profession for more than 15 years, Megan is well experienced in advising both personal & business clients across a range of complex needs.
Megan is passionate about financial planning because it is a dynamic, interesting and enterprising profession. It affords her the opportunity to use her knowledge and experience to support her clients in maximising their financial position.
As well as achieving the financial planning qualification, the Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), in addition to a Certificate III in Accounting, and Project Management certification, Megan is committed to ongoing education as the cornerstone to providing professional, relevant advice to her clients. She has also achieved significant advice-specific designations to enhance the quality of her advice via respected industry providers Aged Care Steps – as an Accredited Aged Care Professional™, and Kaplan, having successfully attained the Self-Managed Super Fund, Margin Lending, and ASX Accredited Listed Products accreditations.
Megan has been an AFP® member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) for over a decade, and operates in accordance with its Code of Professional Practice and Ethics. She has also undertaken various volunteering &/or charity work including having participated in a joint Anglicare / FPA Pro-Bono advice initiative, delivering weekly clinics for those disadvantaged. Other volunteer work includes involvement with such charities as Foodbank, Save the Children, and the Cancer Council.
Megan is motivated by being able to assist her clients achieve both their financial and personal goals, whilst helping to educate them on financial matters. She finds it particularly rewarding defusing myths and/or the concerns surrounding changing legislation, particularly superannuation, and working with clients to make informed decisions for their future.
Above all, Megan is committed to delivering honest, ethical, and accountable advice.
